PADI Open Water
The PADI Open Water Course is the PADI entry level qualification and is recognised worldwide. The following is an example of the course program. The course design is flexible and can be adapted to suit a group`s needs.
The course comprises of 5 pool lessons, 5 classroom lessons and 4 open water dives.
Day 1 and 2 (Pool and classroom lessons)

You will be learning about the Scuba diving equipment, techniques and skills in the pool. There are 5 lessons that are not only essential but great fun too.

As well as the pool sessions you will receive 5 theory lessons that are delivered through home study, multimedia and instructor presentations.
Day 3 and 4 (Open water dives)

What It Will Cost and What You Will Need
- Course Fee £255
- Crew Pack £45
- Site entry fee. There is an entrance fee for open water dives requiring entry to an inland site, payable daily by the student. Current fees: Horsea Island £10, Vobster Quay £15. Boat fees where applicable start at £15.
- Wet suits, boots, gloves and fins are required for open water dives. These can be provided at competitive prices.
- Completed Medical Declaration Form, to be returned to us prior to the course starting.
A minimum of 4 people required for the course to take place.

PADI Open Water Referral Course
The PADI Open Water Referral Course leads to full certification in PADI's entry level qualification which is recognised worldwide. The course is for people who do not wish to brave British waters but do wish to learn to dive in warmer waters on a holiday. The course comprises of 5 pool lessons and 5 classroom lessons which are completed before your holiday at a facility near you.
The course is completed on your holiday at a PADI dive centre by conducting 4 open water dives. The course design is flexible and can be adapted to suit a group's needs. The following is an example of the course program.
Day 1 and 2
