Schools and Universities

We are able to provide a complete programme of diving services from the student’s first taste of the underwater world to the arrangements for an overseas trip of your choice. School/university diving activities are not only great fun but also develops confidence and social skills while encouraging responsibility and teamwork in a challenging environment.

Something for students...

Age 10 students can take part in a course that will lead to certification as a PADI Open Water Diver. This course can be completed in several ways.

1. Conducted solely in the UK
2. Confined water lessons (in the pool) and classroom work in the UK and Open Water lessons completed on a holiday/trip.
3. Complete courses conducted on a holiday of trip.

Holidays and trips booked with us can be escorted by the instructor(s) to provide continuity and reassurance to the students. Further courses can be completed which widen experiences, knowledge and expertise. Bespoke holidays/trips incorporating full diving certification or continued education and expeditions can be arranged for your school/university

A great deal of information and advice is given to make the organiser’s job as stress free as possible. These include school visits and presentations to students and parents. All of our instructors and Divemasters are CRB checked and we take our duty of care with young vulnerable people very seriously.

Although Hidden Depths is based in Salisbury and the surrounding areas we provide training for schools/universities further afield. A typical example of this would be training students prior to an overseas trip. Instruction can be delivered at your school or nearby pool. The dive school will come to you.
